About the New Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
Deriving its name from the unrelated Mitsubishi Eclipse, which the Mitsubishi brand stopped manufacturing in 2011, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross was absent from the carmaker's lineup in the 2021 model-year. During its absence, the SUV received bolder styling, improved ergonomics, and an updated infotainment system.
When you look over the latest Mitsubishi cars on our lot, you'll see that the 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross offers all the advantages of an SUV in a comparatively compact package that's easy to maneuver in tight spaces.
Available in four packages or trims, the refreshed Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 152 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.
The SUV's engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available as an option on every trim.

About the SUV's Technology Features
As you'd expect in a new Mitsubishi car, the 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is loaded with sought-after amenities in the technology department. The base model kicks things off with Bluetoothâ„¢ integration, a generously sized touchscreen, a user-friendly infotainment system, and a USB port.
The higher trims have additional USB ports, satellite radio, and Android Autoâ„¢ and Apple CarPlayâ„¢ connectivity.
About the Vehicle's Safety Equipment
When they visit our Mitsubishi dealership, many motorists ask us about the safety equipment the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is outfitted with. All trims come with a rearview camera, seatbelt reminders, and hill start assist.
Beginning with the LE model, automatic high beams are standard. The SE trim adds a blind-spot monitor with a rear cross-traffic alert and lane changing assist. In addition to those advanced safety features, the SEL model comes with a forward collision warning and intervention system and adaptive cruise control.
